Biography
Donald Baechler (Hartford, Connecticut, 1956) studied art in Baltimore and New York, and practicised if for a long period in Germany, in Frankfurt. He is one of the main characters of the international scene of the past quarter century and he has shown - to quote the most significant moments - at Cheim & Read in New York, Thaddaeus Ropac of Salzburg and many other prestigious galleries. His works form part of several important collections, as the ones of the MOMA and the Guggenheim in New York, at the MOCA in Los Angeles and at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
